How We Rate &
Review

pouch360 currently focuses on industry news and flash coverage. This page documents the methodology our product evaluations follow — described here for transparency.

Last updated June 5, 2026

The scoring framework

Products are scored 0–100 from a weighted set of dimensions: nicotine delivery, flavour accuracy, oral comfort, value, format & packaging, and label transparency. Each dimension is scored independently, then combined by weight.

Scoring anchors

Each dimension uses fixed anchors so scores are comparable over time: a low score reflects a clear deficiency, a mid score reflects an acceptable norm, and a high score reflects best-in-class performance.

Score bands

  • 85–100 — recommended
  • 70–84 — good
  • 50–69 — decent
  • 0–49 — avoid

Blind-test protocol

Where products are evaluated, testing is conducted on purchased or clearly-disclosed sample units, assessed across multiple sessions to reduce single-session bias.

Independence

Ratings cannot be paid for or influenced by brands. See our Editorial Standards for the full commercial-separation policy.
